Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins

January 19, 2018

Anna had a nice life in atlanta. She had a best friend, Bridgette, a younger brother, Sean, and a crush, Toph. Her mom and dad are divorced, and that’s the only problem. Eventually, her dad sends her to a boarding school in France for her senior year because he thinks it will be a good experience. Anna was dreadful and angered, because she didn’t want to leave her great life in Atlanta.

When she arrives at SOAP (School of America in Paris), her opinions slowly change. She makes a small group of friends including Meredith, St. Clair, Rashi, and Josh. Meredith, who lives in the room next door, has a huge crush on St. Clair. And….Anna does too. St Clair has a girlfriend and Anna doesn’t want to ruin his relationship, or St.Clair’s friendship. Anna tries to hide these feelings but on one drunken night, Anna spills all her feelings and things get awkward from there on. These feelings cause problems with friendships, and other relationships, as the story goes on. What will happen to Anna and St. Clair?

I highly recommend this book, Anna and The French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins. People who enjoy romance and drama books would love this book. Not only does this book offer romance, but it has drama also which keeps the book from dragging on. This book has so many twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat, you’ll never want to stop reading. I loved reading this book, I never wanted to stop reading. I hope that people who read this book will enjoy it as much as I did.
